Hello Again.

It’s been over a decade since I last maintained a blog. I had a few posts scattered across various platforms (Blogger, self-hosted WordPress, Github pages) that have since gone offline or been lost to bit rot. I’ve rescued a handful of the old posts that still seemed useful and migrated them here. You’ll find some artifacts from 2011-2013: an Instagram image unshredding challenge, building Android kernels for the Galaxy Nexus, that sort of thing. Time capsules from a different era.

The Setup

Hugo static site, deployed to Cloudflare Pages via GitHub. Write markdown, push.

The Linkroll

One feature I built for myself is a linkroll with full-text archival. When I find an article worth saving, a script fetches the content, extracts the text, and stores it locally. The full text is password-protected since it’s for personal reference only, not redistribution. The public linkroll shows titles and links; the archived content stays private.

What to Expect

Mostly technical writing. Hardware, software, systems. I’ll write when I have something worth saying, and time to say it - which may not be often.
